A product of a 70s/80s childhood, riddled with anxiety around Public Information films, Protect and Survive and When the Wind Blows, I now explore the human anxieties around mortality and the precariousness of life in my work. Unfortunately current world events make these themes all too relevant today. I explore these themes through unsettling mixed media landscapes and dreamscapes, as well as sculpture and installation. A recent tour of power stations and the resulting photographs has been a rich source of inspiration.
